Membership of the Germania Männerchor is open to any man, eighteen years or over, of clean character; however, he should have some knowledge of the German language and music. A candidate may petition the Society for membership through an active singer; he shall be presented to the chorus by the President at his first visit. He must be given a try-out by the Director, and attend three regular rehearsals before being made an active singer.

Candidates are posted on a board for a thirty day period, during which, his character will be assessed by the Männerchor. After thirty days, a vote will be held to determine the candidate's acceptance within the Society.
